Holofunk is an open source, audiovisual, gesture-controlled live looper, that combines wireless audio and touchless Kinect control to let you create and conduct a symphony of yourself.  Designed to let you see, hear, and touch the music you’re making, Holofunk is somewhere between fingerpainting with sound and producing fully live electronica.

Rob Jellinghaus has been working on Holofunk for the last three years, and with the new Kinect, the project is now achieving its potential.  The current pre-alpha version is already useful for performing, and is easy to set up and haul.
